The attitude towards safety as well as daily application can have significant positive or negative results on the individual employee, workplace environment, culture and the business as a whole.

Humanomics seeks to identify the safety thinking of potential and current employees using an on-line safety thinking assessment tool.  This tool is designed to assess candidate’s attitudes towards various safety situations and work style.  The Indicator assesses the following safety oriented characteristics:

  • Safety Control (awareness of own impact on safety)
  • Rule Orientation (ability to work to procedures).
  • Stress Tolerance (ability work safely under pressure)
  • Task Planning (identify potential problems).
  • Consideration (considerate of safety of self and others, willingness to help & solve problems).
  • Detail Consciousness (level of attention to detail, likelihood to check work, identify critical errors).
  • Risk Consciousness (awareness of workplace risks and likelihood to take safety risks).
